VBUS.DCOPERATION
Description
This command indicates whether the mains input is DC or AC.
If the mains input is in DC and it is connected to DC+/DC- terminals (X3), not setting this parameter to 1 will cause AC input phase loss error.
-
- If using DC mains, Kollmorgen recommends the mains input is connected to R/S/T (L1/L2/L3) terminal as opposed to DC+/DC- terminal.
-
The voltage of DC+/DC- may go above the mains voltage in regenerative breaking mode and can damage the DC power supply feeding the drive.
Examples
Usage
If the parameter is set to 0 ->1, the drive assumes the mains input is DC and phase loss detection as well as power loss detection are turned off.
If the parameter is set to 1 ->0, the drive assumes the mains input is AC, and depending on the status of VBUS.THREEPHASE phase loss detection may be turned on.
Code
--> VBUS.DCOPERATION 0 --> DRV.FAULTS 1-2014: AC input phase loss. 2-2014: AC input phase loss.
--> VBUS.DCOPERATION 1 --> DRV.FAULTS No faults active
